The toeside to heelside carve is great practice for moving our feet around on the board whilst learning how our kite aids in these movements. It's also the foundation for the more powered version which then leads you into backside wave riding.
This is an exert taken from the Riding Waves: Frontside Fundamentals video, which is part of the Progression Kitesurfing Series Collection - available to download through the Progression Player App: http://go.progression.me/video-pks-fr...
Riding frontside is stylish, powered and feels amazing but there is a huge amount to master if you are to carve through a powerful bottom turn and set yourself up for a snappy top turn. The 40 minute Frontside Fundamentals video covers it all in detail across two progressions. Take your time to work through the various sections and you'll soon start to truly understand how your kite, board and body come together to use the wave with style and fluidity.

Now we're at the exciting part, takeoff!
All that energy you have built up through learning proper edging, body & bar position, and the timing for sending the kite leads up to the ever important pop off the water. Takeoff is often the most difficult part of jumping to get right as every part of the jump revolves around this moment.
Follow Lew as he walks you through this moment in your jumps and shows you the proper tips.
